Dr. Mateo Burbano was born in Colombia and has been living in the Philadelphia area since 2006.
Prior to graduating veterinary school, Dr. Burbano worked as a veterinary technician and volunteered at multiple hospitals in the tri-state area. He attended Penn State University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2017 then went on to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Burbano has a strong interest in surgery and neurology.
In his free time, Dr. Burbano enjoys movies, drawing, video games and spending time with his Pit Bull Mix named Charlie.
