Dr. Lindsay Smith was born and raised in central New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pathobiology from the University of Connecticut. She spent time working as a veterinary technician in a large specialty hospital in NJ as well as spending a few months in Australia participating in a veterinary internship program before applying for veterinary school. She switched coasts to earn her DVM from Western University of Health Sciences in California in 2014.
Dr. Smith spent a year completing a rotating small animal internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in NJ. She then worked at a small animal practice on the New Jersey coast before moving to Philadelphia. Her interests include internal medicine, feline medicine, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Smith resides in Philadelphia and is enjoying experiencing city living for the first time. Joining her on her city adventures are her two cats, Captain Mango Fluffypants and Flower, and as many fish as she is allowed to have in her apartment (nowhere near enough!). In her free time she enjoys exercising, watching true crime shows, going to flea markets/craft shows, and forcing her one cooperative cat to participate in seasonal photoshoots.
